Hanalei Bay
The North Shore is by far my favorite, just like the North in Oahu, they have the cutest little walking strip, filled with tons of awesome little restaurants and shops and some of the most delicious food trucks and smoothie shacks! They also have some affordable kayaking right there in the bay! My favorite smoothie bowls were from “Nourish”, which were a little off the strip, but their views are AMAZING and they let you BYO coconut bowls and spoons!

Kapa’a
Kapa’a is essentially the island’s downtown, more busy and bustling, lots of shopping and good eats, including “Eat Healthy Cafe” which is 100% vegan and eco-friendly! They also have some great food trucks, beaches and an awesome thrift shop called “Whatever’s” where we ended up buying some shoes and a board game for only $3!

One of our favorite experiences were massages on the beach at “Spa By The Sea” the day after the wedding. A much needed stress reliever.
The Roads of Kapa’a
Some of the most amazing side streets to see how the locals live and the best view of King Kong there is!
Kuilau Ridge Trailhead
Kuilau Ridge Trail has got views for days and tons of opportunity for photo ops!

North Shore Beaches
Some of our favorite finds were, Princeville Beach by the Hanalei Pier, Anini Beach, Tunnels Beach, which is where we stumbled across this super cool cave!
Local Farmers Markets
Kauai hosts some of the freshest farmers markets. Be sure to check out their local schedule of when and where they before you go!

Waimea Canyon
Gorgeous views, but be prepared for a long windy drive to the top, if you are prone to motion sickness, like myself! But it was worth it! And be sure to look for stunning water falls throughout the Canyon after a rainy day!!

Princeville
Princeville was where we stayed for the majority of our stay and it couldn’t of been a more perfect backdrop for our wedding day! 02.01.2020
